We’ve reached the highest point

Reaching the Peak — A Milestone in Construction

On Tuesday, 29 September 2025, we marked an important moment in the construction of the Silos. The West Silo officially reached its highest point — a symbolic as well as structural achievement.

The event brought together a broad group: partners, future users, craftsmen, the project team, and local residents. The mayor, representatives from the city, and Rialto each spoke. Flags were raised. Glasses were raised.

For many, it was the first time stepping inside and walking through the building in its “in-between” state. Guided tours allowed attendees to explore the shell, see the raw structure, and look out from the top level with views over Amsterdam.

It was a moment to pause, reflect on how far we’ve come — and to look ahead to what’s next.

What This Means for the Project

Reaching the highest point isn’t just symbolic — it means we’ve passed a key structural benchmark. It indicates that the concrete work, steel frameworks, and main vertical structures are in place. From here, we shift more into detailing, interiors, finishes, services, and wrapping the building envelope.

In short: the skeleton is standing. Now we make the body.

This milestone also underscores our commitment to timeline and quality. It reassures everyone involved — neighbors, future tenants, partners — that this project is real, advancing, and serious.

Looking Inside the Silos

Inside, the space is raw. Concrete, steel, scaffolding. No finishes yet. No furniture. No lighting — just structure, texture, volume.

That rawness is part of the identity. It tells the story of where we began — and where we’re going.

Visitors on the day were able to see that the building’s bones are strong. The future cinema, workspaces, event halls — all these will rise out of this framework. The West Silo, where Rialto will be, now stands ready to take shape.

Together on Site

The celebration wasn’t just for show. It was an invitation. An affirmation that we’re building this together: the project team, the craftsmen, the partners, and the community.

Neighbors were present. Future users. Stakeholders. People with interest in what’s happening here. We believe that the Silos belong not only to it's users, but to the neighborhood, to the city. That sense of shared investment matters.

What’s Next

With the highest point behind us, we move to the next stage: closing the façades, installing interiors, aligning systems, and bringing in finishes.

We aim for delivery in Q4 2026 (still on target). At hand: cinema halls, workspaces, cafés, rooftop areas, vertical connections, green zones, and the building’s public face to the neighborhood.

We’re not done — but we’re closer.

A milestone reached. The tower stands. And the future takes shape.
